While companies in the field of formed materials generally consume large amounts of energy, we will continue to improve our manufacturing methods for AG bimetals and copper alloy castings, and develop manufacturing technologies with a smaller environmental footprint.
We promote energy conservation, resource conservation, waste reduction and proper disposal/recycling, greening of the workplace, and environmental education for our employees.
CO2 Reduction Activities
Akashi Gohdoh is a company in the field of the raw materials industry, which consumes a large amount of energy in the process of heating and melting metals. For a sustainable future, we are developing the following activities to minimize emissions of greenhouse gases such as CO2.
- Installation of energy-saving equipment (high-efficiency burner-type furnaces, processing equipment, etc.)
- Installation of solar power generation equipment
- Visualization of energy consumption using IoT
- Company-wide CO2 reduction project activities
