Our products are widely used by customers in various fields such as construction machinery, industrial machinery, and housing-related products, both in Japan and overseas. We believe that our major mission is not only to satisfy our customers but also to contribute to the development of society through our products. We also value our employees, their families, and all those who are related to our company, and seek to make everyone happy.
Our company motto is “Aiming to be a youthful company that spreads its wings to the world.”

Yonekichi Akashi founds Akashi Foundry in Kanazawa
1950
Moves to a new factory building in Nagata Honmachi, Kanazawa
1959
Hatsuko Akashi assumes role of president after her husband’s death

Begins production of bimetallic products
1977
Company name changed to the current Akashi Gohdoh Inc. Production facility established in Yokoemachi, Matto (present day Hakusan)

Begins production of bimetallic cylinder blocks for hydraulic pumps used in excavators
